Oscillators
Tribute’s anti-aliased oscillators can morph wavetables in a powerful but easily controlled way. Use the outer, inner and position controls to stretch or squeeze a wavetable in different places. Cranking up the ratio will give you more material to play with. Visual feedback is provided by the wavetable display. Additionally, the oscillators are optimized to efficiently support up to 8 voices in unison for a fat and wide sound.
Wavetables
Tribute comes with 50 carefully handcrafted wavetables designed for bass music production. Additionally, Tribute can load any wavetable in a Serum compatible format, and it is sure to breathe new life into your wavetable collection. Advanced users can even create their own wavetables with Tribute’s emitter.
Modulation
The mod matrix offers extensive modulation possibilities including audio rate FM for the oscillators. Edit envelope shapes using intuitive gestures on the display and build mods that chain envelopes together and loop them to create intricate patterns.
Filters
Tribute’s state of the art, zero delay feedback filters make it easy to shape and perfect your sound. Choose classic filter types with the option for radical slopes, or add another layer of expression with handcrafted, expressive frequency responses.
Patches
Having previously contributed patches to the Reason Sound Bank and Europa among others, I designed over 70 patches for Tribute myself. Although there is a focus on bass sounds ranging from subtle to downright nasty, the patches also include expressive leads, lush pads, beautiful plucks, various FX and polyphonic sounds and even purely synthesized drums. With version 1.1, more than 200 additional patches and wavetables were added to Tribute, created by amazing members of the Reason community.
