Four delay lines with four taps each.

The WBL6414 Multi-Tap Delay mixes four banks of four delay taps together to a stereo output. This devilishly simple signal topology can create complex, single-key shimmers and arpeggiations, suggestive, perhaps, of Roxy Music and Aphex Twin.

The basic technique is to use a Combinator to transpose four instruments, and the WBL6414 to time the playback of the different pitches. Working with velocity, sustain, and attack rates, one can produce exciting, rich results.
