Randrome is a randomizing processor for both audio and CV signals. Like its little brother Randrome Jr, Randrome operates by gating signals according to a user-selected probability–but Randrome has far more extensive capability and control.
Randrome can output internally generated random numbers at the gate threshold instance, or use an audio or CV input stream as a random number source. It thus can act as a sample and hold unit. The user may select not only the gate probability but also the triggering threshold.
The user may also substitute an audio, CV or fixed value stream for open and closed gate values, allowing for unusual tremolo, distortion and other effects.
All controls can be modulated by CV. Another essential tool for sound designers and drum programmers!
