Phaser-DDL is a software emulation of the unique sounding Phaser-DDL algorithm from the classic Ensoniq DP/4 effects processor, which combines a 12-pole phaser with a digital delay. Used in countless records since the 1990s, this phaser instantly gives you the unmistakable French vibe.
Phaser‑DDL has all the same controls as its hardware counterpart, and you can choose from three different sample rates from the original Ensoniq equipment to get that vintage AD/DA converter flavor.
Ensoniq DP/4 and its effects were originally created by Jon Dattorro, Bill Mauchly, Dave Andreas, John O. Senior, Tom Metcalf and Bill McCutcheon.
