Negate

Play with negative melodies and harmonies.
Negate turns the notes upside down around the given center.
Explore new ideas from existing pieces, or use Negate as a modal interchange tool.

Set the center point with the Pos and Oct knobs, and select the mode.

Modes:

• Normal: no changes
• Negate: Turn the notes upside down around the given center
• Mirror up: like the Negate mode when the note below the given center. Otherwise no change.
• Mirror down: like the Negate mode when the note above the given center. Otherwise no change.
