Mini Normalizer

This is a stripped-down version of the Loudness Normalizer RE without Integrated Loudness analyser. It is intended for use in mix channels to help normalize loudness, RMS or peak audio levels as well as to provide a loudness meter.

The measurement of loudness and true peak fully complies with the widely used ITU-R BS.1770/1771 standard.

• Live signal meter, which supports the scales required by EBU R 128 standard.
• Automatic gain control based on the target limits of Peak, Momentary and Short-term level.
• Start/stop of maximum level detection synchronized with the DAW sequencer transport, both in Reason and in the Reason Rack Plugin.
• Measuring of plain VU(RMS) and Sample Peak in addition to Loudness and True Peak.

Revision History

1.0.1 Add ‘Reset & Run’ mode. Drop True Peak accuracy to 0.1 dB to reduce CPU load. Do not calculate True Peak when it is off. Small GUI changes.
