kHs Limiter

Whether you want to crank the last drops of gain out of your track or just want to control a few loud peaks, a Limiter can be the weapon of choice.

By looking a little bit into the future, a limiter can make sure your signal never goes louder than you want it to without distorting or destroying transients. Even with the knob turned to 11.

Limiter is one of the devices in the Kilohearts Toolbox bundle.

The Limiter will prevent the audio volume from going over a certain threshold.

• Threshold - The maximum allowed volume.
• Release - The release adjust how quickly the limiter returns the volume back to normal after limiting it due to a peak in the input volume.
• Input gain - Gain to apply to the input signal before limiting.
• Out gain - Gain to apply to the input signal after limiting.
• Current Gain - Displays the limiter’s current attenuation.
