The melodic portion of this ReFill features 100 combinator 2 patches containing 100 Mimic patches. Glassy FM keys, springy bass and classic rompler staples kick off this retro throwback with patches like Vocal Dreamer and SN09 Heavy EG providing more eclectic tones. We’ve gone through our ROMs to bring you niche rompler sax, brass and keyboards from real modules of the era as well as building patches like Summer Bridge Poly from raw ROM waveforms.

A library of over 200 drum hits and 12 purpose built kits. Take it back to 1987 with 808 percussion, gated toms and tight snares or hit the streets of miami with the Vice Kit. Get cinematic with the Big Trouble Kit and Stormwave kit featuring thunderous toms and retrofuturistic percussion.

GHS16 is created by sampling the Korg M3R with RPC03 Drums 1 ROM, E-MU Proteus FX, Roland TR-08, Roland U110 with SN08 synthesizer ROM, SN09 guitars and keyboards ROM and SN12 sax and trombone ROM. The design of the Combinator 2 instruments are inspired by VHS art and hardware of the era.

GHS16 Demo Songs are made solely using the GHS16 ReFill with MIDI Sequencing.
